About the Artist

A self-taught artist from the beautiful island of Barbados in the
colorful Caribbean Sea, Diamond’s work reflects the strong influence of his native surroundings.
His very precise use of dimension and color, and versatility in most mediums, have becomethe artist's trademark and are mirrored in his photography, use of cratfs and graphic arts. His various techniques involving his extraordinary eye for detail are a quest for truth.

His love of nature also finds expression in his abstract paintings, always inspired by the natural beauty of Creation. The work of Diamond has been exhibited in galleries in Barbados and Paris.
His work can be found in homes all over the world. Currently painting in Paris, he describes the work that living in Paris has inspired as « The Paris Experience » which includes paintings, sketches, photography and short films of daily life and people, and typical Paris scenes.

Exhibition History

Diamond's exhibition history includes viewings at some of the most exclusive galleries and venues in his native Island of Barbados including "The Varandah Art Gallery" and "The National Arts Council Studio".
Diamond is now living and painting in Paris, France.

Diamond is a member of his local "Arts Council of Barbados" and is also listed in the World Artist Directory Diamond paints on a variety of supports, including hand-painted T-shirts, exclusively on demand.
